There are many misconceptions about our food, and most things we need to heal dis-ease and cancers are found in both things we should and SHOULD not be eating. Sugar and all its aliases are one of the WORST things a person can consume with a cancer diagnosis. They like to hide sugar behind fancy words, but don't be fooled.
Other names for sugar:
Sugars ending in “-ose”: fructose, maltose, dextroseNatural sweeteners: honey, molasses, maple syrup, agave nectar
Syrups: high-fructose corn syrup, cane syrup, corn sweetener, rice syrup
Other names: sucrose, barley malt, lactose, glucose
Less common names: anhydrous dextrose, crystalline fructose, invert sugar, brown rice syrup, fruit nectar, pancake syrup, raw sugar, beet sugar, confectioner’s powdered sugar, liquid fructose, white granulated sugar, coconut sugar, turbinado sugar, carob syrup**NOTE: Naturally occurring sweeteners in nature such as monk fruit or stevia are NOT on this list and perfectly acceptable as they do not trigger insulin spikes or create inflammation when processed by the body. When on a keto diet these are the sweeteners of choice as they work in harmony with the body**
